Dynamic User Focussed Strategic City Masterplan

The Strategic City Masterplan was commissioned to provide a comprehensive strategy for one of Central Asia’s largest cities. To ensure the plan was inclusive and reflected the needs of stakeholders, we conducted a range of co-participation sessions with community representatives, business owners, developers, and institutions. We also conducted extensive spatial and urban design analysis to identify the key issues and opportunities in the city.
Together, we developed universal principles for city development, including ways to mitigate social and physical barriers that had divided the city. Our proposed interventions focused on spatial and urban design solutions, such as the creation of new public spaces, improved transport links, and community hubs, to promote social cohesion and connectivity.
The resulting plan outlined a strategy for future development, including recommendations for infrastructure improvements, economic growth, and social development. The plan was designed to be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances and evolving community needs. Its aim was to create a sustainable, inclusive city that responds to the needs of its citizens, with a focus on smart spatial and urban design solutions.
