Urban Symbiotic’s High Street for All Strategy for Purley in Croydon was successfully awarded to them as they supported the Purley Panel to make urgent and critical change to their High Street.
The London Mayor’s High Street for All ‘Challenge’ was launched in 2021 to support
London’s diverse communities, public institutions and businesses to form
active partnerships. It worked on the premise that by working hand-in-hand a collaborative group can seek and share new
ideas to deliver enhanced public spaces and exciting new uses for underused
high street buildings.
The High Street fund is now helping to breathe new life into Purley Town Centre and High Street, delivering resilient, safe and thriving spaces within easy reach of all its residents and businesses at-all-times of the day.
